Guangzhou Petrochemical plans maintenance at PS plant

Guangzhou Petrochemical is likely to shut down its Polystyrene (PS) plant. A source in China informed a team member, "The company is expected to halt operations at the plant starting October 15, 2025, for a maintenance shutdown, with operations expected to resume on December 6, 2025. An authorized source was not available for confirmation." Located in Guangzhou, China, the PS plant has a production capacity of 60,000 mt/year.
