Guangxi Huayi Energy resumes production at No.2 acetic acid plant

Guangxi Huayi Energy Chemical has restarted its No. 2 acetic acid plant in Qinzhou. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have resumed operations at its plant around September 25, 2025, following a maintenance shutdown that began on September 17, 2025. Efforts to obtain confirmation from an authorized source were unsuccessful.” Located in Qinzhou, Guangxi in China, the No. 2 plant has production capacity of 700,000 mt/year.
