Guangxi Huayi Energy Chemical has shut its No.1 acetic acid plant in Qinzhou. A source in China informed a team member, “Operations at the plant were halted around April 7, 2026, for maintenance. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.”Located at Qinzhou, Guangxi in China, the No.1 AA plant has a production capacity of 500,000 mt/year.
