GS Caltex to complete maintenance at No.3 PX unit

GS Caltex is likely to restart its No.3 Paraxylene (PX) unit in Yeosu. A source in South Korea informed a team member, “The company is expected to resume operations at the unit by mid-January 2026. The unit was shut around mid-December 2025, for a maintenance turnaround.” Located in Yeosu, South Korea, the No.3 PX unit has a production capacity of 550,000 mt/year.
