GS Caltex is likely to run its cracker at curtailed capacity levels. A source in South Korea informed a team member, “The company is expected to operate its cracker at reduced production capacity throughout February 2026. The reason behind the production cut could not be ascertained.” Located in Yeosu, South Korea, the cracker has an ethylene production capacity of 900,000 mt/year and propylene production capacity of 470,000 mt/year.
