Petro China Fushun to keep Group I base oils unit off stream

Petro China Fushun Petrochemical is likely to defer the restart of its Group I base oils unit. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have postponed the restart to mid-November 2025. The unit was taken offline for maintenance in mid-August 2025 and was initially scheduled to restart by mid-October 2025.” Located in Fushun, China, the unit has a production capacity of 100,000 mt/year.
