GPPC likely to resume operations at No.2 SM unit

Grand Pacific Petrochemical Corporation (GPPC) is planning to restart its No.2 Styrene monomer (SM) unit in Kaohsiung. A source in Taiwan informed a team member, “The company is expected to resume operations at the unit by February 2026. The unit have been shut since November 18, 2025, for maintenance.” Located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, the No.2 unit has a production capacity of 130,000 mt/year.
