Formosa Plastics Corp (FPC) has taken off stream its phenol and acetone plant in Zhejiang. A source in China informed a team member, “The company has shut the plant around October 30, 2025 for maintenance. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Ningbo, Zhejiang in China, the plant has a phenol production capacity of 400,000 mt/year and acetone production capacity of 250,000 mt/year.
