Formosa Plastics to shut acrylic acid plant for maintenance

Formosa Plastics Corp (FPC) is planning to take its Acrylic acid (AA) plant off stream. A source in Taiwan informed a team member, "The company is likely to halt operations at the plant by early March 2026 for maintenance. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained." Located in Mailiao, Taiwan, the plant has a production capacity of 110,000 mt/year.
