FCFC completes maintenance at No.2 PX unit

Formosa Chemicals & Fibre Corp (FCFC) has restarted its No.2 Paraxylene (PX) unit in Mailiao. A source in Taiwan informed a team member, “The company is heard to have resumed operations at the unit in end October 2025. The unit was shut down around October 13, 2025, for maintenance turnaround.” Located in Mailiao, Taiwan, the No.2 PX unit has a production capacity of 700,000 mt/year.
