The price of sustainable aviation fuel in Europe remained at historically high levels during the week to Sept. 9 as fuel suppliers reported logistical pressure amid the peak summer season, while commercial discussions were limited. At the start of the week, the SAF (HEFA-SPK) FOB FARAG barge price at $3,015.25/ metric ton, a more than three-month high, before the price edged lower to settle at $2,983/mt on Sept. 9.
