European jet prices rose on the day of Sept. 9 amid escalations in the Middle East. the Jet CIF NWE Cargo price at $1,485.75/metric ton, up $36.75/mt day over day, with a premium over ICE LSGO widening $7.00/mt to $14.25/mt. The ICE LSGO Sep rose by $29.75/mt to $1,471.50/ mt, with Sep / Oct backwardation narrowing $4.50/mt to $84.25/mt. On the jet paper market, the CIF NWE cargo premium over ICE LSGO settled at $70.75/mt, up $7.50/ mt on the day. The European Commission said EU jet fuel and diesel supplies remain adequate but warned that escalating tensions in the Middle East and seasonal demand trends could tighten markets in the coming months, affecting trade flows and refinery margins.
