Equinor completes maintenance at methanol plant

Equinor has brought its methanol plant on stream in Tjeldbergodden. A source in Norway informed a team member, “The company is heard to have resumed operations at the plant around November 3, 2025. The plant was shut for maintenance in the first half of October 2025.” Located in Tjeldbergodden, Norway, the plant has a production capacity of 900,000 mt/year.
