Dow Chemical has shut down its Methyl methacrylate (MMA) unit in Deer Park, Texas. A source in the US informed a team member, “The company is heard to have started maintenance at the unit in early October 2025. However, details regarding the duration of the shutdown are not available, and official confirmation from an authorized source could not be obtained.” Located in Deer Park, Texas in the US, the unit has a production capacity of 475,000 mt/year.
