Dongming Petrochemical to bring PP unit on stream

Dongming Petrochemical is likely to restart its Polypropylene (PP) unit. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is expected to resume operations at the unit on September 12, 2025, following a maintenance turnaround. The unit was taken offline around July 29, 2025. However, confirmation from an authorized source is still awaited.” Located in Shandong province of China, the PP unit has a production capacity of 200,000 mt/year.
