Daqing Xida is in plans to bring on stream its Expandable polystyrene (EPS) unit. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is expected to resume operations at the unit around October 10, 2025. The unit was shut on September 21, 2025 for a maintenance turnaround. An official statement from the concerned authority has not been released.” Located at Daqing, China, the unit has a production capacity of 120,000 mt/year.
