CPDC runs ACN plants at near full rates

China Petrochemical Development Corp (CPDC) is presently running its Acrylonitrile (ACN) plants in Kaohsiung at near full rates. A source in Taiwan informed a team member, “The company is expected to operate its plants at around 90% of total production capacity throughout September 2025. Sustaining this level of output indicates that the company is aligning production with market demand while optimizing operational efficiency. This information could not be independently verified.” Located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, the plant comprising two units has a production capacity of 240,000 mt/year.
