Caprolactam Supply Warning: Plant Curtailment

CPDC runs Caprolactam plant at lower rates

China Petrochemical Development Corp (CPDC) is operating its Caprolactam (capro) plant at curtailed capacity levels. A source in Taiwan informed a team member, “The company will run the plant at around 75% of production capacity through January 2026. The reason behind the curtailed capacity levels could not be ascertained.” Located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, the plant has a production capacity of 200,000 mt/year.
