CPDC to take No.3 Caprolactam plant offstream

China Petrochemical Development Corp (CPDC) is planning to shut its No.3 caprolactam (capro) plant in Kaohsiung. A source in Taiwan informed a team member, “The company is expected to halt operations at the plant by February 2026 for maintenance. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, the No.3 plant has a production capacity of 200,000 mt/year.
