China Petrochemical Development Corp (CPDC) is likely to take off stream its Acrylonitrile (ACN) units in Kaohsiung. A source in Taiwan informed a team member, “The company is in plans to shut the units by mid-October 2025 for maintenance. Further details regarding the duration of the shutdown are not yet available, and an authorized source could not be reached for confirmation.” Located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, the two units have a total production capacity of 240,000 mt/year.
