Celanese resumes operations at Acetic acid unit

Celanese has brought its acetic acid unit on-stream. An industry source in Singapore informed a team member, “The company has restarted the unit around February 10, 2026. The unit was shut down around December 8, 2025, for maintenance." Located in Pulau Sakra, Singapore, the unit has a production capacity of 600,000 mt/year.
