BPCL likely to start maintenance at acrylic acid unit

Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd (BPCL) is in plans to take off stream its acrylic acid unit in Kochi. A domestic industry source informed a team member, “The company has planned to halt operations at the unit around November 17, 2025 for maintenance. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Mumbai, India, the Acrylic acid unit has a production capacity of 160,000 mt/year.
