BASF is in plans to shut down its ethanolamines plant in Antwerp. A source in Belgium informed a team member, “The company is expected to shut the plant for a maintenance turnaround from the first half of October 2025 until the first half of November 2025. The exact shutdown and restart dates could not be ascertained, with no confirmation forthcoming from an authorized representative.” Located in Antwerp, Belgium, the plant has a production capacity of 110,000 mt/year.
