Asahi Kasei restarts operations at SM Plant

Asahi Kasei restarted the Styrene Monomer (SM), plant in Mizushima. Sources in Japan told a member of the team that "the company resumed operations in mid-August after a turnaround." The unit was closed for maintenance mid-May 2025. Located in Mizushima in Japan, it has a 390,000mt/year production capacity.
