Lotte INEOS eyes maintenance at No.1 VAM plant

Lotte INEOS Chemical is likely to take off stream its No.1 Vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) plant in Ulsan. A source in South Korea informed a team member, “The company is in plans to carry out maintenance turnaround at the plant starting October 9, 2025. The plant is expected to remain offline for approximately 20 days. However, no official confirmation was available at the time of reporting.” Located in Ulsan, South Korea, the No.1 VAM plant has a production capacity of 230,000 mt/year.
