Asian toluene $7/mt lower from the previous close at $659/mt FOB Korea and the FOB China marker $5/mt lower day over day at $672/mt on Sept. 12, as upstream markets retreated. Both upstream crude oil and naphtha prices fell Sept. 12, with the front-month ICE Brent futures contract 98 cents/b lower on the session at $66.27/b as of the Asian close. The C+F Japan naphtha marker was $5.50/mt lower at $598.50/mt. the FOB Korea H1 and H2 October laycans $7/mt lower at $659/mt, below an offer that was floated in the market during the Market on Close assessment process.
