Styrene monomer (SM) prices quote stable in Asia

In Asia, SM prices remained unchanged on Tuesday. A polymer update member was informed by an industry source in Asia that "prices were not changing much due to a weak buying trend on the Asian market." FOB Korea SM was assessed Tuesday at USD 1050-1060/mt, the same as Monday. CFR China SM was assessed at USD 1060-1070/mt, the same as Monday's assessment. On Tuesday, the upstream benzene price was assessed at USD 920-930/mt for FOB Korea.
