The Asian gasoline complex weakened on April 1 amid market monitoring of de-escalation efforts in the Middle East. Brokers pegged the front-month FOB Singapore 92 RON gasoline swaps crack spread against Brent swaps at $24.90-$24.95/b midafternoon April 1, down from the of $27.29/b at the Asian close March 31. Broking sources also placed the physical FOB Singapore 92 RON gasoline crack spread against the front-month ICE Brent crude oil futures at $32.15- $32.20/b midafternoon April 1, down from the of $25.87/b at the Asian close March 31. “I would say we have not fully reflected the actual supply tightness yet,” a Singapore-based trader said.
