Shandong Qinghe Chemical halts production at No.1 PP unit

Shandong Qinghe Chemical has shut down its No.1 Polypropylene (PP) unit. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have halted operations at the unit on September 12, 2025 for maintenance. Details regarding the duration of the shutdown remain unclear. However, no official confirmation was available at the time of reporting.” Located in Huantai, China, the No.1 PP unit has a production capacity of 150,000 mt/year.
