Indian recycled PET remained under pressure due to persistently weak market fundamentals in the export sector. The recent reciprocal tariff announcement added pressure on premium-grade flakes, which are priced at $820/mt FOB India for flakes with less than 30 ppm of PVC as of Sept. 17, reflecting a $5/mt decline week over week. The R-PET foodgrade pellets with a minimum intrinsic viscosity of 0.8 were at $1,135/mt FOB India, down $10/mt week over week amid thin demand and a continued drop in the parallel feedstock market.
