India PVC: continues rangebound amid thin activity / Domestic prices unchanged / High inventories continue to keep demand subdued

CFR India PVC suspension grade at $620/mt, unchanged week over week amid thin trading discussions and unchanged market fundamentals. Domestic markets were also unchanged, with discussions heard around Rupee 59-63/kg, according to market sources. Several market sources continued to maintain that the Indian market had some impact on the depreciation of the Indian rupee. While one source said it was positive and domestic prices had shown a slight uptick, many suggested that due to depreciating exchange rates, import demand remained subdued. Elsewhere, buyers locally and sellers in India both described the market as having excess inventory and limited transactions.
