Asian polymeric methylene diphenyl diisocyanate prices remained stable, toluene diisocyanate prices decreased, and slabstock polyol prices also remained stable in the week ended Jan. 30. CFR India polymeric methylene diphenyl diisocyanate stable week over week at $1,750/metric ton Jan. 30, below the most competitive offer at $1,800/mt for cargoes of 100-500 mt volume and above a buying indication from a trader at $1,700/mt. Domestic prices remained stable week over week in the range of Rupee 164-175/kg. the MDI upstream Asian benzene FOB Korea marker as up by $9/mt week over week at $772.67/mt on Jan. 30. A Japan-based producer said that offering below $1,800/ mt was not possible for any manufacturer.
