Phenol FOB China offer heard at $780-$800/mt / Northeast Asia acetone supply remains long

CFR China phenol stable week over week at $750/mt on Nov. 11, considering thin discussions heard. In adjacent FOB China markets, an offer was heard at $780-$800/mt. "(At that level) it's still not good enough for export," said a trader based in China. East China ex-tank prices for phenol were last heard at Yuan 6,250-6,300/mt Nov. 11, increasing from Yuan 6,200-6,250/mt heard in the previous week. In acetone markets, prices were weaker to stable week over week. CFR China acetone marker stable week over week at $525/mt on Nov. 11, amid stable prices heard in the domestic China market.
