Asian Isomer-grade mixed xylene prices were assessed $8/ mt lower day over day at $698.50/mt FOB Korea, down $9/mt day over day at $718.50/mt CFR Taiwan, and down $8/mt day over day at $703.50/mt CFR China Nov.21. Crude oil futures fell further in midmorning Asian trade on Nov. 21 amid rising optimism over a potential US-backed plan to conclude the Russia-Ukraine war. Market participants reported buying and selling interest for the second half of December. Buying interest was noted for the first-half arrival laycan, though no trades were heard done.
