Asian MMA prices remain mostly stable amid unchanged fundamentals / Buying interest subdued -Post-Lunar New Year activity in focus

The Asian methyl methacrylate market remained mostly stable Feb. 3, with cargo flows and spot prices little changed. Asian methyl methacrylate prices increased $5/mt week over week to $1,180/mt CFR China, while prices remained unchanged at $1,280/mt CFR Southeast Asia. A Chinese producer said buying interest in MMA was subdued in major demand centers in Asia — South Korea and Southeast Asia. The producer cited tradable levels for March- and Aprilloading MMA at around $1,220/mt FOB China.
