Spot discussions in India were thin in the week ended Sept. 12, but price discussions were heard in a wide range amid scattered market views. Domestic ex-tank discussions were rangebound at around Rupees 30.25-30.50/kg at Kandla, Mumbai and Hazira ports. There were a few active sellers from Mumbai port as inventories were limited, sources said. A 500-mt trade was heard concluded at Rupee 30.40/kg ex-tank Mumbai basis to an end-user, market sources shared. Import parity levels stood around $319-320/mt CFR India on Sept. 12. CFR discussions were thin as market participants remained unsure about the market trend moving into October.
