Asian acrylonitrile prices were steady in the week ended Nov. 18 amid largely unchanged market fundamentals and thin spot trading activity. acrylonitrile CFR Far East Asia stable week over week at $1,070/mt Nov. 18, above a buy idea heard at $1,000/mt and below sell ideas heard at $1,080/mt and higher, amid thin trading. Overall demand in the region was sluggish amid the year-end season with buyers focused on consuming current inventory levels, trade sources said. "Buyers still have some inventory; there are no firm bids at the moment," said a Taiwan-based supplier.
