Jinneng Chemical shuts No.3 PP unit for maintenance

Jinneng Chemical has taken off stream its No. 3 Polypropylene (PP) unit. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have halted operations at the unit around September 1, 2025 for maintenance. The unit is expected to remain offline until end-September 2025. However, confirmation from an authorized source has not been obtained.” Located in Qingdao City, Shandong province of China, the No. 3 unit has a production capacity of 450,000 mt/year.
