Asian methanol prices closed the week mostly stable amid thin spot trading activity. CFR China methanol stable day over day, but $1.50/mt lower week over week at $260/mt on Sept. 19 and CFR Southeast Asia steady day over day and week over week at $326/ mt on Sept. 19. Fundamentals in the Southeast Asian methanol market were long and regional producers were heard keen to sell in the Indian methanol market, after the US in July sanctioned six Indian companies for importing Iranian chemicals, traders said. FOB Southeast Asia was estimated to be around $260/mt, trade sources added. Trading activity was thin in China. Domestic prices in east China traded Yuan 17/mt higher day over day, but Yuan 21/mt lower week over week at Yuan 2,250-Yuan 2,270/mt ex-tank on Sept....
