Indorama Petrochemicals has extended shutdown period at its Purified terephthalic acid (PTA) plant in Cilegon. A source in Indonesia informed a team member, “The company is expected to keep its plant offline for an unspecified period. The unit was shut for maintenance in the first half of September 2025. Further details regarding the duration of the shutdown could not be confirmed, and no official statement from authorized sources was available.” Located in Cilegon, Indonesia, the PTA plant has a production capacity of 500,000 mt/year.
