The prices in the Indian styrene monomer market fell in the week to Aug. 28, tracking the China market and thin trade activity. the weekly styrene monomer CFR India marker down $11.50/mt from the last at $1,307.50/mt on Aug. 28, under corroborated offers heard in the range $1,320- $1,350/mt CFR India from sellers and buyers. The premium to CFR China was up $2/mt on the week at $130/mt on August 28, under an offer level heard at CFR China plus $140/mt and above a buying indication at CFR China plus $120/mt. Spot discussions remained stable this week as US-Iran tensions continued, sellers cited higher offers for China-origin material.
