The Indian Solvent MX market firmed week over week on Oct. 9, supported by limited inventory levels. the CFR India Solvent MX cash differential at FOB Korea plus $152/mt, up $2/mt week over week to Oct. 9. In the domestic market, ex-tank prices in Kandla and Mumbai were heard at 130-133 rupees/kg, up 3-4 rupees/kg from the previous week, amid tight product availability. “Demand for solvent MX has remained relatively subdued, as C9 aromatic solvent is available at a lower price in the domestic market,” said a Delhi-based importer. “There are currently no aggressive buying inquiries for solvent MX.
