India PVC: CFR India unchanged WOW amid thin trade due to China holidays / Demand steady, domestic unchanged: sources / Asia prices hold steady

CFR India PVC suspension grade at $875mt on Oct. 7, unchanged week over week, amid thin trading activity and offers heard due to China's Golden Week holidays. Southeast Asian producers were heard asking for bids, said a trader based in India, however, selling indications received could not be corroborated. Several sources commented that Southeast Asia, South Korea, Taiwan and China would resume together after the holiday week ends. This sentiment was also echoed by a Northeast Asian producer, “The market might be more viable next week.” Another Northeast Asian producer, however, shared that “markets seem slow.” Domestic Indian markets were heard to be holding steady between 95-100 rupees/kg amid steady demand as the monsoon began receding.
