Hyundai Chemical to shut PP units for maintenance

Hyundai Chemical is likely to take off stream its Polypropylene (PP) units in Daesan. A source in South Korea informed a team member, “The company is expected to shut its units around October 13, 2025, with operations expected to resume by December 14, 2025. Official confirmation from the company is not yet available.” Located at Daesan, South Korea, the two PP units have a combined production capacity of 500,000 mt/year.
