Handsome Chemical starts maintenance at Acetic acid plant

Handsome Chemical Group has taken off stream its acetic acid plant in Jingmen. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have shut the plant on September 4, 2025, for maintenance. The turnaround is expected to conclude by mid-September 2025. However, this information could not be confirmed with an authorized source.” Located in Jingmen, Hubei in China, the acetic acid plant has a production capacity of 600,000 mt/year.
