Asian Glacial Acrylic Acid ex-works North and East China at Yuan 7400/mt Nov. 4, down Yuan 50/mt day over day and Yuan 100/mt week over week. Weakness in spot prices remains persistent, a China-based trader said. While demand cues are fairly stable, there is no support for spot prices, the trader added. "It is good demand season but [that does] not mean the price should not go down," he said. Price pressure remains evident mainly due to the current demand and supply balance as well as volatile global macroeconomics, he added. From a demand and supply perspective, the supply side view remains fairly mixed for now.
