Dongming Dongfang resumes production at 2-EH unit

Dongming Dongfang Chemical has brought on stream its 2-ethylhexanol (2-EH) unit in Shandong. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have restarted the unit on September 7, 2025, following a planned turnaround. The turnaround had been undertaken since July 14, 2025. However, confirmation from an official source could not be obtained.” Located in Shandong, China, the unit has a production capacity of 75,000 mt/year.
