Wacker resumes production at VAM plant

Wacker has brought on stream its Vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) plant in Burghausen. A source in Germany informed a team member, “The company has resumed operations at the plant around July 31, 2025 following a turnaround. The plant was shut for maintenance in early April 2025.” Located in Burghausen, Germany, the plant has a production capacity of 200,000 mt/year.
