Oriental Energy starts maintenance at PP unit

Oriental Energy Zhangjiagang has taken off stream its Polypropylene (PP) unit in Jiangsu. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have halted operations at the unit around September 8, 2025 for maintenance. The duration of the shutdown has not been disclosed, and attempts to obtain confirmation from an authorized source were unsuccessful.” Located in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu in China, the PP unit has production capacity of 400,000 mt/year.
