Asian Caprolactam: Stable prices buoyed by positive sentiment / Domestic China prices up on production cuts / CFR Far East, SE Asia prices could rise suit next week: producer

Asian caprolactam prices held steady for the second consecutive week, supported by optimism surrounding firmer domestic Chinese prices and a slight rebound in upstream benzene prices. Domestic East China molten caprolactam prices advanced by Yuan 150-200/mt while domestic China solid caprolactam prices were up by Yuan 50-100/mt to settle at Yuan 8,300-8,350/mt and Yuan 8,450-8,500/mt, respectively, over the week ending Nov. 13. Meanwhile, the benzene FOB Korea marker rose $16/mt week over week to $661.67/mt Nov. 13, after hitting a multiyear low of $645.67 on Nov. 6.
